How Do I Meet People?
Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.
Small Group
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has small Bible studies held in member homes. A variety of small groups allows each to have its own focus; perhaps there is something that interests you! Children’s Ministry
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and provided with an approved curriculum. Kids enjoy snacks, age-appropriate teaching, and participate in programs throughout the year. Youth
At WECC, we believe that ages 12-18 are a critical time in the spiritual development of a young person. The relationships formed and belief structures ingrained during this time can affect a teen for the rest of his or her life. To help our students during this phase and give them the tools they need for adulthood, we offer two opportunities for kids as they grow. For 7th through 9th graders, we offer Confirmation on Wednesday evenings and our Jr. High youth meet together every 2nd Wednesday at 6:00 pm in the church basement.
Women’s Ministry
Women’s ministry gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women meet for ministry, social events, times of refreshment and spiritual growth. These groups provide a joyful discipleship opportunity for the women in the church. For more information on what our women’s ministry is up to now, click here.
Men’s Bible Study
Covenant men meet every Thursday night at 6:30 in the home of Chuck Peik, in Gaylord to study God’s Word, encourage each other and fellowship together.
A second bible study meets every Saturday 6:00 am (yes AM) at Hahns Dining.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Calling all stitchers! Knitters and crocheters (weavers welcome too!) meet on the second Monday of every month at 7:00 pm to craft shawls that will provide warmth and comfort for those experiencing loss, illness or other crisis. We encourage anyone who is interested to join us, regardless of skill level. Click here for more information!
