OUR
MINISTRIES

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as mowing the church lawn, to ushering on Sunday morning.  To help out in any of these areas, please contact the church office and we will get you plugged in!

Mission & Outreach

WECC is privileged to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in our local community through our outreach ministries.

  • AWANA (our Wednesday night program for kids)

  • Inquiring Minds (Wednesday night program for adults).

  • Summer Vacation Bible School

In addition to local missions, we support the work of international missionaries Francisco and Stephanie Ramos, currently serving in France. The Mission team also meets the physical and emotional needs of our own congregation, through visiting the housebound, providing for the sick and coordinating funerals.  We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.

Gospel Music

Worship Ministry

  • Music

    • God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists.  All of these volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

  • Ushers & Greeters

    • The usher team at our church fills an important role. They ensuring the safety of the building during services, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.  Our greeters are the first impression of our church to a newcomer, and the first friendly face each of us see upon entering the church.

  • Media Technology

    • Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. We utilize the talents of a dedicated sound team to ensure a high quality service.  All of our weekly services are uploaded to our YouTube.

Christian Discipleship

Here at WECC, we understand that the life-changing work of Christ doesn’t end with a one-time decision.  Rather, we believe that the church should be providing spiritual direction for the purpose of bringing us to spiritual maturity through learning, serving, and sharing our faith.

Our discipleship oversees our Connection Groups/Sunday School program, Youth, Confirmation and the Women’s and Men’s ministries.  In addition, we coordinate with Lake Beauty Bible Camp for summer and winter camp events.
